Our story begins in the 1930s, when our grandparents arrived in these lands driven by a common dream: to grow coffee. Like many families of that era, they migrated following the hope offered by coffee farming, at a time when this activity was beginning to consolidate in the Quindío mountain range and in Colombia in general.
Our grandparents came from Abejorral, Antioquia. Our grandfather's first destination was Sevilla, Valle del Cauca, which at that time was recognized as the country's largest coffee-producing municipality. There he learned about the coffee boom firsthand and strengthened his vocation for this crop that would forever mark our family's history.
Over time, and thanks to the geographical proximity and the road connecting Sevilla with Pijao, Quindío, our grandparents continued their journey. Our grandmother, with family roots in Pijao, was a natural bridge for them to finally arrive in Buenavista, where they decided to settle and put down permanent roots.
Since then, our farm became a space of work, effort and learning. Generation after generation, we have kept the coffee legacy alive, dedicating ourselves steadfastly to coffee cultivation. Today we can proudly say that we have been growing excellent quality coffee for decades, not only as a product for our consumers, but as an example and heritage for our future generations.
We are now the third generation of a coffee-growing family that has honored the work of those who came first, caring for the land and preserving a tradition that defines our identity. Our farm is not just a place of production; it is memory, family and continuity, a living testimony of the coffee history that precedes us and that we continue to build every day.
